The Children's Center for Integrated Services (CCIS) is a new state-of-the-art mental and physical health treatment center bringing comprehensive care for Flint and Genesee County children to a single location. Children’s Integrated Services Assessment Clinic
As of October 22nd 2018, Genesee Health System’s Children’s Integrated Services Assessment Clinic, formerly Neurodevelopmental Center of Excellence (NCE), has been accepting referrals for neuropsychological assessments of children exposed to lead from Flint water. The CIS Assessment Clinic is an expansion of GHS’ assessment services for children which already provides Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) assessments. The new assessment center houses ASD, FASD, and the neuropsychological assessments related to lead exposure from Flint water.
