GHS is committed to expanding the services we offer to Genesee County. We have multiple locations to serve the community, including our recently opened GHS Outpatient Clinic.
The clinic provides services to uninsured residents of Genesee County, with plans to expand in the future. People who need outpatient services will meet with a licensed therapist to help work through mental health concerns. Services are offered on a sliding scale fee based on what the individual or family can afford. Examples of common reasons to seek therapy include stress, depression, feeling overwhelmed, worry, anxiety, and grief. This program is funded by the Genesee County Community Mental Health Millage and grant funding from SAMHSA.
To access this and other services, residents should call GHS at 810.257.3740 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and ask to speak to a care specialist. The care specialist will work with individuals and families to find the best programs to meet their needs and help them navigate their options. Call or Walk In today!
GHS partners with the Genesee Community Health Center (GCHC) to provide primary care, outpatient mental health, and substance abuse treatment services as a patient-centered medical home. Learn more about what GCHC can offer.
