Support During Housing Instability

Housing instability can create significant stress and uncertainty. Individuals experiencing homelessness or unstable housing may face additional challenges such as unemployment, trauma, substance use, and limited access to healthcare.

Economic stress and lack of stable housing are recognized as risk factors for suicide (CDC).

GHS connects individuals experiencing housing instability with behavioral health services, substance use treatment, and housing navigation.
